Slimline Cap & Gown Graduation Card
My last post showed this card as one of two custom made cards for my neighbor down the hall. I promised that I would do a video on how to create that card. Well, after a few video equipment hurdles and much hair pulling, I have it for you today. I hope you enjoy this fun fold. It also fits in your basic #10 business envelope (like you get your bills in 😉 ) Incidentally, I made the neighbor two versions of their requested graduation card, one more traditional and this one. They chose this one.
This is a quick and easy fun fold graduation card that can easily be customized for the graduate!
Included in this video are a couple of tips, how to emboss colored images and how to make the tassel.
I made this in the same colors, because is it also New Ulm's High school colors. It could be made in black and white. I've made other custom graduation cards in specific school colors. If I don't know what the school colors are I go to the school's website and look at the football team uniforms. With the 60 core colors in the Stampin' Up!© collection, I can usually come pretty close.

I CASE'd this card from Frenchie Stamps, with a couple of tweaks, and the tassel creation from Alystamps.
These cards will be available for purchase, along with other graduation cards, in my Card Shoppe. I also make custom cards.
I hope you like this variation on the Gate Fun Fold. It's pretty easy to make.
Thank you for taking the time to spend part of your day to spend with me!
