September "Create A Card" Class cards
Wow, it's hard to believe that September is coming to a close! It's been a busy last two months for me, making crafts for the only craft fair that I participate in. Two my two biggest sellers are the most labor intensive, so I get a little burned out. The cards for this month's class were a little more on the simple side. A remind me of the wedding traditions, "something old, something new, something borrowed" but in this case it's something carried over from last year. something new and something from the Sale-a-bration catalog.
"Snow Wonder", below was carried over from last year, but still an adorable set! The background is sponged in Balmy Blue. The trees are stamped in Mossy Meadow. The snowman is stamped in Memento Black and colored with the Stampin' Blends; Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Real Red and Crumb Cake for the arms. It's accented with at few of the self-adhesive snowflakes.
The something "new" is from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite. I love the ornament, bell, and star die cuts. But my favorite is the snowflake. This card also uses some of the pattern paper (DSP) from the same suite. I also used the Wintry 3D embossing folders from the annual catalog as a background for the top layer. The label is from the Pretty Pillow Box die set.
The last card uses Peaceful Prints DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalog, which coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle from the Mini Catalog. I actually bought the bundle because I was so in love with this paper. Silly huh! The trees are stamped in Soft Slate and the sentiment is also from the Snow Wonder stamp set. I like that the trees actually are "grounded".
I hope you enjoy these projects. Make sure to like, subscribe and share!
