Give It A Whirl!
A hidden gem! I totally missed this fun die set in the 2021-2022 Annual catalog on page 57. It was shown in a card and had a bit of a mention on that page, but I think this fun interactive die set should have had a whole page on it's own. As soon as I saw some wonderful cards with it in my Pinterest feed I knew I had to get it. My middle grandson loves interactive cards and his birthday is coming up. I think a lot of adults will get a kick out this card too.
I paired it with a couple other sets for adults. This is the first one I tried with the "Nothing Is Better Than..." stamp set. I love this fun set, designed by Connie Stewart one of our Million Dollar Sales Demos. When you sell a Million Dollars, in your career, you get to design your own stamp set.
After I made it, it thought it would be perfect for my daughter, so it's off in today's mail. She loves her coffee, and chocolate and is always making cookies for her three sons. She also homeschools and has her own family photography business, and I know, from raising my two kids on my own Adulting Is Hard.
The second card I made has more of a tropical feel, with the same stamp set. Here it is in motion.
The third card I made, with the same stamp set is with cookies. I used the DSP from the "You're A Peach" collection. I even used the scallop circle from the "Give It A Whirl" die set and hid the brad underneath, by using Mini Dimensionals to pop up the circle.
This is last card I made yesterday (though (I'm in the process of making more of these fun cards) using the "Nothing Is Better" bundle. This one is my favorite. Is it because it's pink and brown? Maybe. Or because it is about chocolate? Probably. The Polished and Early Espresso reminds me of chocolate and raspberry, one of my favorite combinations, especially in ice cream. I used the DSP from the 6 x6 pack of 2021 - 2023 In Colors. Love this pink! The sheer ribbon is also from the 2021 - 2023 In Color Collection.
I also wanted to use this fun set for a card for my pastor, who is recovering from surgery. I thought it might make him smile and I'm guessing his little girls might have fun with it too. I used the stamp set "Back On Your Feet" and the DSP is from "Beauty of the Earth".
Here's my FB Live video from yesterday. Hope you enjoy it!
