Gift Bags! Who needs them?
It's that time of year again, when we are shopping for Christmas and need gift bags. If you are like me, you love to make your own. Here are a few video's that I did a few years ago, that I had to find for myself. The great thing is that you can make these all year round, with the DSP that fits the season or the theme.
BAG ONE: TWO SHEETS OF DSP (Designer Series Paper/Pattern Paper)
This first bag is made from two sheets of DSP. The only caveat that I discovered when making this one, to make your life easier, use DSP that has directional paper on only one side. I started to use one that had ornaments on one side, and cute little, subtle Christmas trees on the other and either my ornaments (on the outside) or the trees (on the top) would have been upside down. The bag in this video has stripes, which I wanted on the top. I think this is one of the most stunning bags I have made.
BAG TWO: ONE SHEET OF DSP
This bag, uses one sheet of DSP and you can make it to whatever size you want! Your only limitations are the size of the paper.
BAG THREE: Custom bags for tubes of hand lotions.
Who doesn't love to give or received a favorite tube of hand/body lotion from Bath & Body Works! Or your other favorite brand.
I show you how to make three different sizes, from one ounce to four ounces.
I hope you find some inspiration here. (Oh, PS, if you need Christmas cards and don't have time to make your own, check out my Christmas Shoppe. You can find a link on the home page of this website.
