Creative Connections Card 2: Pocket Card

The second Take & Make card from our Creative Connections Event this August was a cute pocket card. Cutting the paper for this card was my small contribution to the event. The card was designed by my fellow New Ulmer, Amy Rich and she graciously dropped off the supplies to cut at my apartment. She is also the designer of this card and was also one of the presenters at our local event.

I discovered during the event, from one of the presenters from the Stampin' Up! office, that our local event is the largest event, globally that is held by a local group of Stampin' Up!© demonstrators.

This is a gorgeous gift card! I love the foil accents on the DSP (Designer Series Paper), the silver & gold trimmed ribbon and the printed vellum DSP. The images on the DSP coordinated with the dies from the Season of Green & Gold Suite.

A sweet little pocket for a gift card or cash and room for your sentiment or personal greeting. I haven't decided when I will use this card so I have left everything blank and will tuck the tag and the ribbon in the pocket for later.

Here is a diagram of how the cardstock looks, once it's cut and where to score it. The notch is made with a 2-3/8" Circle punch, and yes I cut, scored and punched 250 of these, as well as cutting the blank inside white cardstock layer. Thankfully I didn't have to do the die cutting. That was done by a couple of members from Amy's team, one, Mary Koch has a sister who lives down the hall from me. :-)

This is a photo of Amy's finished card.

This is a standard A2 card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"). A great card for gift giving especially with Christmas coming up.

I hope you enjoyed this card. Please make sure to like, share and subscribe! If you don't have a demonstrator I would be honored for you to choose me.
